Welcome to GreenLite Labs.
How it works in six simple steps:
Step One
Cleanweb Entrepreneurs
Once a year we select 8-10 early-stage companies driven by great entrepreneurs who are developing innovative cleanweb startups targeting big sustainability issues that provide big opportunities for businesses. Their business models leverage web and mobile technologies in order to increase the adoption of clean technologies, sustainable processes, as well as green products and services or encourage the reduction, reuse or recycling of natural resources.
Step Two
Seed Capital + Resources
GreenLite Labs provides each company selected and enrolled in our accelerator lab with seed capital to launch their growth through the program. Additionally, companies will have access to key resources such as work space, legal services, testbed access, and affiliate organizations.
Step Three
Mentors + Community Network
The Community Network is the core of Greenlite Labs. Mentors drive the connection between entrepreneurs and our community of cleanweb testbeds, affiliate organizations and powerful networks. Mentors are the best-of-the-best in their fields. They are individuals with deep industry, investment, or entrepreneurship experience, particularly related to the cleanweb
Step Four
13 Week Boot Camp
The mentorship-driven bootcamp lasts for 13-weeks and consists of 4 phases
- Vision – Identify the ultimate direction of the company and where risks exist on the way to the greatest opportunities
- Execution – Develop your product, refine it and create a long-term product development strategy
- Growth – Identify the resources necessary to turn from seed-stage startup to a high-impact company that changes the world
- Pitch – Refine how you present yourself – communicate your direction, how you are going to get there, and how you are more capable of doing it than anyone else
Step Five
Investor Demo Day
The last day of the program is “Investor Day” where each team will pitch to a huge crowd of investors. This is what it all comes down to, it’s where each GreenLite Startup gets a chance to showcase the transformative growth they’ve made and how they will continue on their way to explosive success. GreenLite Labs entrepreneurs aim to build big companies with capital requirements for growth ahead. Web, cleantech, and impact investors can look to cleanweb startups for huge future opportunities in their portfolios.
Step Six
Success
Cleanweb provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to start small and grow to making a huge impact. GreenLite Labs startups have big ideas and game-changing potential that will impact the world by creating a more sustainable future. GreenLite Labs provides the fuel for cleanweb entrepreneurs to get there by providing the critical resources, guidance, and networks to succeed.
What is Greenlite?
Greenlite Labs is a mentorship-driven seed-stage investment program for cleanweb startups. Once a year we select 8-10 early-stage, high potential companies to participate in our 13-week accelerator lab. We provide each company with seed capital and surround them with some of the best, brightest and most successful cleantech entrepreneurs and investors. Our purpose is to enable each company to develop capital-efficient, quick to revenue business models that enables them to transition from concept stage to venture investment ready businesses with the potential for significant growth and disruptive impact.
Having a cutting-edge, breakthrough technology is not enough to succeed as a cleanweb entrepreneur. Innovators, engineers and scientists are experts of their own domain, but are often lost navigating the complex landscape necessary for growing a successful cleantech venture. Early stage Cleantech companies are in need of an ecosystem that will enable them to transform innovative technologies into disruptive high-growth ventures.
Colorado is a national leader in Cleantech R&D and policy. Boulder, Colorado is an entrepreneurial hub for cleantech, sustainable impact, and web/mobile ventures.
